SA: Marine protection boosted in SA waters
ADELAIDE, Jan 2 AAP - New regulations to better protect marine mammals have been introduced
in South Australia.
SA Environment and Heritage Minister Iain Evans said today the regulations were imposed
due to the increasing popularity of whale watching.
He said the regulations included limiting how close humans could come to marine mammals
such as whales, dolphins, seals and sea lions.
